Other Ways to Give

There are lots of ways to give to ProKids that don’t include a large cash donation. Whether you’re a young professional who is looking for an alternative to the traditional or a long-term donor wanting to supplement your support, see below for creative options that also help the children ProKids serves.

Give when you shop at Amazon and Kroger

Did you know you can help our kids with your weekly grocery shopping?

Kroger will donate a percentage of your qualifying purchase to us when you use your Kroger Plus card. Just link your card to  the Kroger Community Rewards Program to start helping ProKids now.

Create your own fundraiser

Create a Facebook Fundraiser and involve your social networking friends. The Facebook fundraiser can be in honor of your birthday, anniversary, wedding — and since the fundraiser is supporting ProKids, Facebook charges no fees.

Unite your friends and family by hosting a self-organized event — from a concert, golf event or cooking demonstration in support of our children. If you do host a self-organized event, please reach out to us first at info@prokids-archive.devphase.io so we are aware.

Sponsor an event

As a business, you can benefit by sponsoring the ProKids Friends of Children Breakfast. The event brings together a diverse group of hundreds of civic and philanthropic leaders in Cincinnati each May.

To learn more, email Jennifer McKettrick at jmckettrick@prokids-archive.devphase.io.

Donate to the Holiday Shop gift card drive

Every year, hundreds of kids and teens end up forgotten during the holidays.

Help make sure all kids served by ProKids get a least one great, exciting gift by donating to our Holiday Shop Gift Card Drive.

Your donation will be used to purchase gift cards so every child gets something new or has a little money to grab a snack with friends. It’s a small luxury these kids don’t normally have.

We appreciate any donations in any amount but we try to make sure every child has at least $25 to spend.

Workplace giving and matching gifts

Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will double or even triple the amount of your gift.

Just ask your employer if they offer matching gifts or check the matching gift database at Charity Navigator.

Other popular workplace giving programs include donations through payroll deduction or annual giving campaigns. If your company conducts a workplace giving program, ask how you can direct your gift to ProKids.
